Piri Gallington is an Assistant Solicitor in our private client department. She is experienced in dealing with Wills, Probate, Court of Protection and elderly client issues as well as some trust work. She has a particular expertise in dealing with community care rules and care home funding and assists clients particularly in appealing against NHS and Local Authority funding decisions. Piri works with Jill Hill, the Partner responsible for our private client department.
Piri was educated at St. Joseph's Convent Launceston and after a varied career as a professional dancer and subsequently a manager in the hotel and catering industry decided to become a Solicitor and studied at the University of Derby and the University of Staffordshire for her degree and finals, winning prizes at both institutions. She joined us in 2006 and already has a loyal client following.
Piri has a young son and when family responsibilities allow she enjoys running, swimming and karate.
